Walter and Alice
"Walter and Alice" is inspired in part by Kevin's mother who passed away in 2005 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Although Mrs. Golka is the inspiration, the song is not biographical; instead, it tells the story of a terrifying disease that afflicts thousands of Canadians each year through the lives of the fictional characters of Walter and Alice.
The song is available on the North to Ontario 2010 compilation recording. North to Ontario is a project spearheaded by Tom "Old Coot" McCreight and Gene Guthro (Athlone Studios) that features original songs by Ontario bluegrass artists and promotes them across North America and beyond.
It is a really worthwhile project, and we hope that you'll support it by purchasing a copy and checking out all the other great, Ontario bands. To order "North To Ontario 2010" on-line from us click here...

Wandering Steps (and Slow)
They say there is only one story that's ever been told, and that's the story of leaving home and spending the rest of your life trying to find your way back... The title comes from the final lines of Paradise Lost, a poem about the expulsion of mankind from Eden, our original home.
